Who processes your data
Zylon Internet B.V., established at Zernikepark 12, 9747 AN Groningen, is the controller for the personal data processed in the course of our services. Contact: info@zylon-voip.nl, +31 50 3604554.
What we process
Number lists. The numbers you provide us with, together with the technical data needed to place calls, such as the call ID, direction, timestamps and duration.
Recordings. Where recording is required or consented to, we store the recording together with its metadata and, where available, a transcript.
Transcripts. For some recordings we create a transcript for quality and training purposes.
Technical data. IP addresses, device and browser information and communications data needed to deliver, maintain and secure the service.
Billing data. Company details, contact details and payment details you provide.
Legal basis
We process your data on the following grounds under the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) to deliver the service, place and administer calls, and produce invoices.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) including the statutory retention periods for tax and accounting records.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for securing our service and preventing and combating abuse and spam.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) where required by law or by an additional agreement, for example when a number list is reused for a different purpose.
Retention
Recordings are kept for 30 days by default; this period is configurable per customer. Transcripts are not kept longer than necessary for the purposes they were created for. Number list data is kept for the duration of the agreement, with a back-up deletion cycle of no more than 90 days. Billing records are kept for the statutory accounting period of seven years.
Sub-processors
We use the following sub-processors in delivering our service:
- Telecom operators and carrier services, which process calls and the associated technical data in order to establish the connection.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, which host our servers and backups and store the data encrypted.
- Spam analysis and fraud prevention providers, which screen messages to prevent abuse.

Security
Data is stored encrypted and transmitted only over secure connections. Access is limited to staff who need the data for their work. We are ISO 27001 certified.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object to processing and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Our website uses functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. We do not place tracking or advertising cookies without your consent.
